Chirstmas Wonders

This Christmas I decided to take on a challenge, I was going to make quilts for my sister, sister in law and two mothers. They were a lot of work but the tears and happiness were worth the late nights. These were no ordinary quilts. My mom's had photos of Amanda and I as children and Amanda now with a child of her own. Aaron's mom's had pictures of Aaron and Laurel As they were babies, and Laurel with a child of her own. And Amanda and Laurels had pictures of their little ones. They were great fun to make! And thank you family for the kodak moments!

The Surgery..da da dun...

Callie and Cooper got spayed and neutered on January, 10. And for all who know my pathetic Callie girl knows she is VERY dramatic. As we brought them home Callie let us know how much we "hurt" her on the way home. She had a mournful cry, indicating of sorrow and pain all the way home, all the way up the stairs to the front door, and in dads arms every time she woke up, just to remind him how much "pain" we had put her through. Cooper well he is a different story, he was just happy to be home and happy he was aloud to lay on the couch with mom and dad to recover.

Our Nephew Owen Haddon

Owen was Born July 2, 2008. My big 6 month old nephew is the most handsome man ever to soon crawl the earth. We got to go visit Amanda, Daniel and Owen a few weeks ago because Callie and Cooper got "the surgery" done in Stanwood. So, being half way there we continued our journey to spend the afternoon with them. We went to a little ice cream food joint down there and admired all the amazing art work and sculptures (handmade snowmen) We had a blast! Thank you guys for a great afternoon we will have to do it again soon!

Donkey Basketball

For those who know Aaron and I you know that we have two completely different families! Black and white, salt and pepper, ect, even though these things are different, they are always good when put together. The reason for that tidbit about the family is that Aaron's parents have opened my eyes to many different things in life. Such as, The Fair, Christmas on Christmas eve, and the most resent Donkey Basketball! I have heard of this crazy sport, but never have sat and watched it. The Carr family enjoyed a night of watching people making "asses" out of themselves. I couldn't believe it unless I say it with my own two eyes! I recorded it so that all could see this "sport" Donkey Basketball!

My First Posting!

I am starting this blog for a couple reasons, but the main reason is because my sister Amanda lives down south and I love looking at her blog to keep up with all the latest news on her and her family. I don't get to see my handsome nephew very much because of the joys of getting older, jobs, obligations, and you know how it is trying to all get together. Plus this is really cool. Anyways, I would love to keep everyone up to date. Thanks Amanda for opening my eye's to a new internet world.
